Ali : “Broadway West taught me my love and passion towards working as a team. But more importantly, trusting others and treating them like family with integrity. I joined Broadway West when I was 19. There were a few years difference between myself and my fellow classmates. Susan, Christopher, and Carol Swanson became role models for setting goals and working with you to be the best version of yourself. Every Week. Every Class. Every Rehearsal. For Every Show. I am creating my own artistic projects here in Texas today, and utilize the passion, knowledge and growth teaching ability that was shown to me through example.”

Adam: My name is Adam Krist and I trained with Susan at Broadway West from the age of 7 to age of 12. Susan taught me the skills to be a triple threat. I have had many lead roles in 18 community theater plays in Las Vegas, and when I moved to LA with my family, she helped me sign with a manager and talent agent. I have done many regional plays here including Tommy, On Golden Pond, and the Foreigner. I am the youngest to be nominated for a regional Robby award, I have booked 4 national commercials and a few regional ones, appeared on several tv shows including the primetime show Speechless and I also got a part in a feature titled Booksmart. I have learned very ,very little from teachers here because Susan had taught me the concepts I needed to know already. When I attended college at CSUN in film, I already knew the skills from Susan about lighting, blocking and projection. Susan is one of the best teachers of all time. I have met people out here that knew Susan here and or New York.. I don’t think there’s anyone else out there that could’ve prepared me for the industry better.
